The Just Culture Improvement Index (JCII) is a survey tool that measures progress against nine behavioral markers tied to successful Just Culture implementation, such as open reporting and non-punitive response. Each behavior is evaluated in the context of the organizational values you need to protect.

The JCII looks at how people actually work: how they report, how the organization responds, and how systems are designed. It evaluates those behaviors against values such as customer service, customer safety, employee safety, financial stewardship, data privacy and protection, and environmental protection.
Results are broken out by location, department, team or shift, job position, and other demographics. You see the differences within your organization, not just an average.
